Associate Director, Creative Production
Reporting of the role
This role reports to VP, Creative Operations
Overview of the job
As Associate Director, Creative Production, you will lead Influencer’s in-house creative production function within our wider Creative Operations team. You will manage a team of video editors, a designer and a studio manager, owning the creative quality, commercial performance and output velocity of the work they produce.
The core focus of this role is post-production video and performance creative. This is where the majority of our current production revenue sits, and where we see the biggest growth opportunity. You will lead the development of high-performing, platform-native content for paid media, including UGC multiplication, hook testing, remix edits, performance creative packages and TikTok and Meta ad assets.
The team also supports wider production management across shoot days, TikTok Lives, creator experiences and longer-form content. You will oversee this strategically, ensuring live and pre-production work is planned with strong post-production outcomes in mind.
This role requires a senior creative production expert who can set the standard for great output, build scalable systems, develop a team and confidently scope, price and grow a commercially valuable production offering.

You will define what great performance creative looks like for Influencer, from UGC and hooks to platform-native ad formats for Meta and TikTok. This is one of our most important growth areas and a major opportunity to shape the agency’s future production proposition.
Lead a multi-disciplinary production team
You will manage video editors, a designer and a studio manager, raising the quality of each function while bringing them together as one integrated production engine.
Build the systems that scale output
We are a lean team producing at high volume. You will design workflows, AI-enabled processes and a hybrid in-house and freelance model that allow us to produce more, faster, without compromising on quality.
Measures of success - in the first few months, you will have:
Established a clear quality bar for post-production output across platforms and formats.

Built strong working relationships with your direct reports, with clear accountability and development plans in place.
Improved at least one workflow or tool that increases output velocity, particularly around asset adaptation, resizing or creative variation.
Contributed to a new business pitch or upsell conversation with a clear production perspective.

Stay close to platform developments across Meta, TikTok and other paid social environments, translating best practice into how the team briefs, edits and delivers.
Build and manage a flexible freelance network across editing, motion graphics, CGI and specialist post-production.

Provide strategic oversight of shoot days, TikTok Lives, creator experiences and longer-form production projects.
Ensure live and pre-production briefs are planned around the final assets they need to generate.
Oversee freelance crew sourcing and production resourcing, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and commercially.
Design

Develop the design function over time, particularly around motion, animation and performance-led creative systems.
Ensure design and video outputs work together as part of an integrated creative approach.
Commercial Ownership
Own scoping, budgeting and margin awareness across creative production briefs.
Develop production packages and pricing frameworks across remix content, performance creative, UGC production and live production.
Identify upsell opportunities and partner with Client Services and Growth on pitches where production is part of the proposition.
Manage team capacity efficiently, balancing permanent resource with freelance flex.
Systems, Tools & Collaboration
Design scalable workflows that increase output without a proportional increase in cost or headcount.
Identify and embed AI-enabled tools for adaptation, resizing, workflow automation and creative variation.
Work closely with Strategy to ensure briefs are creatively ambitious and platform-informed.
Partner with Measurement & Insights to understand how creative output performs and use learnings to improve future work.
Build a strong working relationship with the Commerce Growth Manager to align briefs, formats and platform requirements from day one.
