Overview of the job
We are seeking a Senior Strategist or Associate Director of Creative Strategy, title and level commensurate with experience and fit, focusing on evergreen client initiatives and direct client relationships within the travel category. This role is responsible for delivering best-in-class creative work informed by deep category insight, consumer trends, and social-first storytelling — while also leading pre-sale RFP strategy across a diverse range of industries and verticals.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned strategist with experience in a client-facing leadership role, taking full ownership of account needs with greater autonomy. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly blending strategic vision with creative execution to deliver standout campaigns and always-on content that keep travel brands top-of-mind year-round. As the day-to-day lead for travel clients, you'll work directly with clients to translate business goals into bold, influencer-led ideas that resonate culturally and drive measurable impact. You'll also bring that same strategic rigor to pre-sale RFP responses, crafting compelling narratives and concepts for prospective clients across verticals.

Measures of success - in the first few months, you will have:
Developed a full understanding of Influencer's capabilities, offerings, and how they apply to travel brands and beyond.
Led evergreen content planning for key travel accounts, from ideation to presentation, in collaboration with client marketing teams.
Delivered creator strategies and concepts that resonate with both aspirational travelers and destination-specific audiences.
Built strong working relationships with both internal teams and client stakeholders, becoming a trusted extension of their marketing departments.
Contributed to and led pre-sale RFPs spanning multiple industries, demonstrating versatility and strategic range.
Roles & responsibilities:
Work closely with the VP and Creative Strategy team and account leads to define and elevate our travel creative approach.
Interpret client briefs for always-on and seasonal travel initiatives, leading internal brainstorms and client-facing creative workshops.
Develop and manage direct relationships with travel clients, ensuring creative output consistently aligns with brand guidelines and KPIs.
Lead the creative and strategic development of influencer campaigns that maximize both paid and organic reach within the travel space.
Demonstrate expertise across social-first content executions, particularly on Meta, Snap, TikTok, and YouTube, with a clear understanding of how to activate in the travel and tourism space.
Stay ahead of travel, culture, and lifestyle trends that can inform campaign creative.
Oversee creator sourcing strategies that balance destination expertise, audience targeting, and content quality.
Lead and contribute to pre-sale RFP strategy across a wide range of industries and verticals, developing bespoke creative frameworks and influencer thinking tailored to each prospect.
Present concepts and strategies confidently to senior client stakeholders.
Develop and manage relationships with internal teams and build a deep relationship with the sales team.
Represent Influencer across key IAT stakeholder meetings, presentations, and events.
Have a deep understanding of influencer marketing and the way in which brands can leverage influencer content to deliver outcomes across the sales funnel.
What you will need:
Minimum of 5- 7 years experience in a creative and/or strategy role.
Minimum of 3 years influencer marketing experience.
A digital native with a history of delivering socially led branded content.
Experience building, designing, and leading deck building.
Experience sourcing indicative creators.
Previous experience working in travel, tourism, or hospitality
On the pulse of internet culture, especially around travel, lifestyle, and destination content.
Demonstrated ability to develop compelling pre-sale RFP strategy across varied industries and client types.
Solid communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Strong ability to distill complex client problems into strategically focused influencer briefs.
Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
Ability to manage competing priorities and workloads.
High energy and results focused (short-term and long-term vision).
Collaborative spirit, able to work across many functions and build rapport quickly.
