Overview of the job
Technical Support & Helpdesk Operations: Monitor and manage the Service Desk to prioritize and resolve Tier 1 & 2 support tickets efficiently (break/fix issues, MacOS troubleshooting, desktop/laptop/tablet/printer support, drive/account access) both in-person and remotely.
User Account & Lifecycle Management (JML Process): Support end-to-end onboarding, provisioning, deprovisioning, and offboarding for new and departing employees across system accounts (Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, other enterprise software tools). Execute SSO configuration, SCIM provisioning & physical device collection and delivery.
User Enablement: Lead Day 1 technical onboarding for US staff by provisioning hardware and software access, and guiding new hires through essential self-service resources, such as our knowledge management system and our internal app catalog.
Hardware & Software Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment, software, peripherals, spare units, and licenses. Oversee Mac setup, deployment, standard imaging, repairs, upgrades, and shipping devices to/from employees. Maintain and repair hardware as directed by the IT Manager.
Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Security: Utilize MDM solutions (Addigy) for device provisioning, policy enforcement, system patch management, and implementing infrastructure security best practices
Audio/Visual & Event Technical Support: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot in-office AV equipment (HP Poly with Google Meet) and provide technical support during agency events
Documentation & Project Assistance: Document internal IT policies, procedures, and technical guides. Work alongside IT Manager to assist in daily administration, software/hardware upgrades, and technical guidance on projects. Ensure our internal knowledge management platform (Guru) is consistently kept up to date and optimized.
Additional Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support evolving organizational needs or departmental goals.

Successfully deployed and optimized the internal Service Desk portal to streamline employee support requests.
Partnered with the IT Manager to transition toward a fully in-house IT infrastructure, including the rollout of EDR and backup solutions.
Conducted a comprehensive audit of all NYC office hardware to ensure asset management and inventory accuracy.
Built strong relationships with the NYC employees, and established yourself as the face of IT.
Roles & responsibilities:
2+ years of hands-on IT support experience across Windows and macOS environments, ideally within a fast-paced or growing organization.
Experience in Tier 1/2 troubleshooting, user onboarding/offboarding (JML processes), and identity management using Google Workspace and Office 365.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff and deliver a high standard of customer support.
Analytical mindset with the ability to manage tickets independently, document technical processes.
Proven ability to pivot quickly and adapt to emerging tech solutions or internal workflow adjustments.
Proactive mindset focused on troubleshooting and identifying technical issues before becoming widespread disruptions.
